Description

Show places, walking routes or directions on an interactive map built with Leaflet and OpenStreetMap. Add the map as a block in Kirby and edit its locations and paths directly in the Panel.

Give each marker a title, description, color and symbol. Draw paths on the map, add a legend and choose when labels appear. Maps can fit all locations automatically or center on a selected place.

Display the map inside the page or open it in an overlay from a thumbnail. Choose from map styles such as OpenStreetMap, OpenTopoMap and CyclOSM, or configure your own Leaflet tile provider.

Control how maps load

By default, visitors load map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Enable the optional tile proxy to serve them through your own server, or use the click-to-load setting to wait until a visitor presses “Load map”.

Requirements and installation

The plugin supports Kirby 4 and 5 with PHP 8.1 or newer. It includes English and German Panel translations.

Install with Composer:

composer require tearoom1/kirby-leaflet-map

See the documentation for blueprint setup, template snippets and configuration.
