Set up tracking

Allow access

Recording requires location access. Recording journeys while the app is closed also needs background location access. Android manages these permissions separately. Follow the app’s prompts and check system app permissions if recordings have gaps.

Start recording

Enable “Enable Tracking” in Settings. The app records location points and groups them into movement and rest periods. Open entries in the daily view to see details or a map.

Choose a request interval

A shorter interval requests location more often. This may capture more detail while using more battery. Start with the existing settings and adjust them based on your recordings.

Check Wi-Fi pause

“Pause on WiFi” can pause recording while connected to Wi-Fi. Disable it if you want to record journeys there too.

Stop and correct

Turn off “Enable Tracking” to stop recording. Delete an incorrectly detected movement from its detail view.
