Today and the next days
Today and the next six days fit on the first screen. A clear hour curve with sun, clouds and rain shows how the day goes, and one plain sentence says what is coming, like “Rain until about 5 pm, then dry.” Tap a day for its details: hours, rain, wind, UV, sunrise and sunset.
Widgets for your home screen
Five widgets: Days, Today, Hours, Now and Clock. Each one adapts to its size, from 2×2 up. Choose a look for them: light, dark, automatic or weather colours that follow the sky, or a gradient background: a weather gradient, Fjord, Sunset, Forest, Slate, Sand or your own colour. Adjust the background opacity and the text colour. A live preview in the settings shows the look before you leave.
Calm and private
No ads, no tracking, no account. Your approximate location is read while the app is open, and in the background for widgets only if you allow it. It is rounded to about 100 m before the forecast is requested. The weather data comes from MET Norway, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. See the privacy policy.
Weatherfold Pro
Save several places, switch between them and give each widget its own place. Pro is an optional one-time purchase of 1.99 EUR, not a subscription, and supports the app. Weatherfold itself stays free.
